As with many of you, a new year finds us both reflecting over the past one, and making plans for the new.  We praise God for bringing us safely to each new day, throughout 2005 and into 2006.  He's led us through the challenges of releasing our first project, and continues to lead us on.

At this time last year, we were mixing ”All I Live For”.  Hours were spent in the studio control room, listening and adjusting relative  balances, little by little, until each song projected the desired final image.  What a ride through rough and unknown waters!  Sitting as producer on this project, I found out the hard way what I didn’t know.  I also found out how much I love the mix.  I look ahead to mixing our second project with anticipation instead of anxiety!

Spring 2005 found us in the final stages of the mechanical production of our first cd run, and busy with designing this site.  I give thanks to God for the hard work and support of my dear friend Kristen Cox, our photographer, website designer, webmaster, and my personal cheerleader!  She continues to support our efforts here at cindyendres.com with both imagination and wise counsel.  Truly, two are better than one, when Kris is the one who joins in (Ecclesiastes 4:9).

We continue in the promotion of this project and our music as we step into 2006.  All I Live For is available in central New Jersey at Jesus Book and Gift, just off Route 1 South in Iselin.  Digital downloads are available online at iTunes, and soon to be available at other sites as our digital distribution continues.  Secure online ordering is available through this website, where we've also provided a printable order form (click here) for those who prefer to order by mail. 

Looking forward in 2006, much is already in motion.  Our next project,  Home, is in it's preliminary stages.  We have fourteen tracks recorded in demo form at Barefoot Recording Studio.  (A demo represents the song’s basic melody, tempo, and lyrics, a sort of skeleton awaiting the “fleshing out” of instruments and voices.)  We’ll be sharing more about Home in future newsletters, as well as sneak peaks at the included titles. 

We also move forward in 2006 with plans for expanding the scope of cindyendres.com.  We will begin to publish both background stories and Bible studies relating to the titles on All I Live For, along with free downloads of lead sheets and overheads.  Our desire is to make this site a resource to those seeking God and to those leading others in worship.

Finally, we covet your prayers for our ongoing ministry.  Our first project utilized studio musicians and talented friends (with special thanks to Dan Cox).  In 2006, we hope to actually form a band, joining the talents of other artists to ours, making it possible to take our music beyond the studio and into local venues.  We move forward with all of you in mind, prayerfully striving to obey the Lord’s call to lead others into His presence.   Thank you for your support and prayers.  Without you, we'd be just a voice disappearing into the wind.  God forbid.  We desire instead, to be a voice crying in the wilderness of this life, “Prepare a straight path for the Lord’s coming!” (John 1:23, NLT).  We earnestly pray you each experience the presence of the Lord in 2006.  Let us prepare the way of the Lord together!  ~ Cindy & friends
